- Hello,
-
- I'm having some problems with file permissions between my Amiga and my
- NFS server. If I create a new file with a command like "info >
- dos1:xx.txt" the file has the correct permissions according to the
- UMASK perameter in my nfstab. However, If I copy an existing file eg.
- "copy dh0:yy.txt dos1:" the permissions are incorrect. It acts as
- though the umask is 077. Typing umask at the Amiga shell returns 000.
-
- My config:
- Amiga client:
- AmiTCP/IP 4.2
- PC Server:
- Windows NT 3.51 USSP3
- Intergraph DiskShare NFS Server
- My Amiga users and groups are properly mapped to NT users and
-
- groups.
-
- I would appreciate any help you could offer. If you need any
- additional info please e-mail me.
-
- Thanks for your time.
-
- - Mike
